Is the Cloud Safe?

     Now I know that usually I try to keep my posts about being healthy. But today i want to try something new. Today why don't we talk about the cloud? Or otherwise known as the internet. Our generation can literally have our entire life connected to the web. People put a lot of trust into the belief that when they are on the internet,  they are being protected. But we forget that along with being useful and informative, The web can also lead to your destruction.
     I got a list of classic dangers of the internet from the following site. Bad things that could happen include:
                           1. Viruses- When you open something that is not very safe it is possible that you might collect one of these. They attach themselves into the inner system and can cause you lose all files, photos, and even crash your entire computer.
                           2. Spam- is the commercial sending of information to a user without their consent. This usually happens in the form of an email. These files can have unwanted information and is just a plain annoyance to have. sometimes spam comes with viruses.
                           3. Con-Artists- The thing about the internet is that you never know who you are dealing with. The person selling you a product most likely is not who they say they are. As a result it is very hard to find deals that are safe and reliable. Many times people will run into con-artists and will be taken advantage of. They give out their banking information to someone who is only going to steal from them.
                           4. Giving Out Too Much Information: Kids are naive people. They don't always make the best decisions. Many will release way too much information about their lives for everyone to see. Creeps all over the world take advantage of this. This leads to an increase in kidnapping and rape.

    But there is hope for the internet yet. To begin with, all that information you store on it is permanently safe. According to this it is impossible for the internet to crash. The cloud is just way to big. As long as you keep your internet saved onto a safe site, you will be fine in that area. Secondly there are laws and safety regulations that are very closely held on the internet. This site informed me on an organization that helps to make like safe for everyone; The Internet Watch Foundation. This company works with the government, the police, and those in charge of education to provide the safest environment possible. They have the ability to look at what is happening on any computer, and to stop what is needed to be stopped. If they find a suspicious user or site, they have the power to shut hem down. While this can be seen as an invasion of privacy, I think it is for the better. I would much rather have the government know what I am doing than the stalker next door. 

      So in conclusion, the internet is not a particularly safe place. There are areas that it would be best to stay  away from. But if you follow the rules, if you don't act stupid in your decisions, the internet is perfectly fine. Your safety is affected by your decisions. Play safe on the internet, and the internet will play safe with you.

Wake up Feeling Healthy

   Now to begin my list of recipes let me start at the beginning of the day. Breakfast traditionally is not a very big ordeal. You grab something small on the way out of the door. But let me tell you now, that is NOT the way to go. We have it backwards, because we generally eat large dinners instead. Breakfast should actually be your largest meal of the day. You have you entire day ahead of you to burn the calories that you consume during breakfast.

   Do not get me wrong and eat absolutely enormous sizes of breakfast because I told you to increase your amounts. Still eat a normal amount! Just don't forget that you need to eat breakfast too:)And don't eat huge dinners, your body doesn't burn as many calories in the evening just plainly because we slow down and don't do as much. A general rule to live by is eat like a King at dinner, a Prince at lunch, and a Pauper at dinner.

   A great way to start the morning is with a bowl of oatmeal. Oatmeal is incredibly good for you, and with the right seasoning is extremely tasty. The problem is more often then not the "right" seasoning consists of butter, brown sugar, and other high calorie and fat items.

   This upcoming recipe I am about to share with you is not only delicious, but has that very nice healthy factor to it. Here is the recipe for my own creation called: Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal. It is tasty because of the sweetness the apple and cinnamon adds, but also completely good for you. Plus it is filling so you don't want to eat large amounts of it.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup already cooked oatmeal
1 apple chopped into thicker squares
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon


   Yes my friends, it is that easy. I hope that you can enjoys this not only in taste. but also in the way you feel once you get rid of the unnecessary sugar and have a guilt free meal.

Getting to Know the Author :)

Hey!! I thought as long as you guys are reading this blog, you should know a little bit about the person writing it.


This is me at one of my friends birthday party:)
 My full name is Audrey Isabella Mason, and I am a 14 year old girl from various places around the world. I have lived in many places during the span of my small life so it would be hard to tell you exactly where I am from. Some of these places include Tanzania, Kenya, and a Ship....yes I used to live on a ship. I have  a loving family of my Mom, Dad, and my brother and sister; Cole and Alice.

My favorite things to do vary quite a bit. I love to be involved with drama....as in the the school play, not girls at each others throats. Right now I am in the process of helping/being apart of the play Pirates of Peznzance. If you have not seen that play yet, you really should. It is hilarious. I also enjoy camping, white water rafting, and rock climbing.

Now a huge thing on my list of important is things is being healthy. I used to be the type of girl that would eat anything she wanted and did not worry about the consequences. I am now a completely changed woman. My diet has completely changed. And because my diet has changed, so has my life style. I find I am happier, and just more comfortable with myself. That is why I wanted to make this blog to post recipes that can help you guys too, if you want to try and be healthy. I am about to start going gluten-free so a lot of these recipes will be gluten-free as well. I hope you enjoy these recipes as you and me come to get and know them together. Because in the long run it is not the candy and junk that makes you feel comfortable with yourself. It is the healthy things.
